Sherwin Kuo

Sherwin brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, technological innovation, and operational experience in healthcare and biotechnology. As a practicing hospital medicine physician at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, he combines frontline medical care with digital health innovation.
Prior to his clinical career, Sherwin conducted research at UCSD's Microbiology lab, contributing to multiple publications. He has since led numerous digital health initiatives at academic medical centers, including Remote Patient Monitoring, Hospital at Home programs, EHR optimization, and AI implementation in healthcare. He is also an early investor in CG Oncology (NASDAQ: CGON) and serves as a mentor for Cedars Sinai Accelerator and SkyDeck.
Sherwin completed his Clinical Informatics fellowship at UC Irvine and Internal Medicine residency at Mt. Sinai Health System after receiving his MD from St. Georges University. He also holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego.
