Stephan is currently the Head of Corporate Development at Joby Aviation, the leader in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).

Before that, Stephan spent more than a decade in different leadership roles in the Automotive industry. Most recently he was a founding member of Porsche Digital, a spin-off of Porsche Ventures that focuses on software development, incubation and new technologies. He joined as the second employee and at the time of his departure, he had scaled the team to almost 1,000 employees. In addition he led Porsche Ventures US, the Corporate Venture Capital Unit of Porsche, and the most active CVC in Automotive. During his time at the firm, he was involved in more than 40 direct investments.

He is driven by new challenges and building teams as well as defining strategies and executing them. He loves being surrounded by talented, successful, and motivated persons that always challenge the status quo and want to drive change.
