Catherine Ye is an experienced, successful leader, with world-class experience in managing high-stake situations, turn-arounds, risk management, rapid growth in a cost-aware fashion, and technology solutions that range from early stage MVP to planet-scale systems. From her time at Stripe and Google, she’s built up deep insights and wisdoms on many key aspects of running and growing a business via product development and the application of technology. A few examples include (not limited to) enabling business scaling via digital transformation, ROI and M&A assessment (tech companies), building highly talented and high through-put organizations, risk and compliance management, governance process, and so on. Catherine also has hands-on experience in both 2B and 2C products, moving a product up or down market, and developing geo strategies.

Catherine is currently leading one of the major financial service providers in the industry (Banking as a Service at Stripe), responsible for billions USD of card transactions, hundreds of millions USD in funds storage and transfers, and a hundred million USD in business loan financing (on a monthly basis); the presence covers the US, UK, and EU. Previously, Catherine applied technologies to scale Stripe’s business operations, such as billing & revenue recognition, payment cost optimization, transaction tax assessment, tax and regulatory reporting across Stripe’s global markets.

Before Stripe, Catherine spent over-a-decade at Google leading a wide range of computing systems, ranging from database and data storage to realtime and batch processing, from web search infrastructure to cloud computing, and data privacy.
